I had to let go of a very dear friend yesterday to a waning battle against old age and liver failure. The image of his last moments in my arms still burns and replays over and over again in my mind. I could have never asked for a better dog. He provided me with the such pure bliss for the past 13 years and now all I can hope for is that he is now in a happier place gorging on all the treats he can eat and exploring the vast open world to his heart's content. No more suffering and pain, Brown. I will love you forever and for always.
